Welcome to the Rifugio Alpe Fontana. The hut, located about a hundred metres above the Capanna Soveltra (unfortunately burnt down), was created thanks to a conservative restoration of the alpine pasture buildings. Today it stands as a support point for hikers along the Via Alta Vallemaggia. The hut is not guarded. There is a gas kitchen. Groups can request half-board, which is only offered if possible.
