SUMMER SEASON From early/mid-June to the end of September 2026 , during the summer season, the Capanna Cava is open and staffed by a hut warden. WINTER SEASON From early October until the end of May 2027 , during the autumn/winter season, the Capanna Cava is closed. The winter shelter remains open and offers 4–5 sleeping places. The shelter is not equipped with a toilet or shower, and no food or drinks are available.
