Preliminary remark: Accommodation fees are collected on behalf of and invoiced by the Austrian Alpine Club (see Huts - Price List). The tenant receives a commission from the lessor for managing the sleeping accommodation. In addition to the accommodation prices, a tourism tax of currently €2.50/night is payable to the municipality of Ramsau am Dachstein for guests aged 15 and over. Welcome! Our hut offers a wonderful location and is particularly easy to access. Whether you are looking for the challenge of demanding hikes, via ferrata or alpine tours, or simply want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. We serve dinner at 7 p.m. If you would like to have dinner with us, you must decide in advance between half board or a mountaineer's meal (vegan lentil dish). Please also indicate if you would like vegetarian meals. If you would like vegetarian meals, tick the ‘vegetarian meals’ checkbox. We can only offer a selection of dishes from our daily menu until 3:30 p.m. You will need slippers in our hut. This ensures a cosy, clean atmosphere. If you forget your slippers, we have a few pairs of hut shoes available (we cannot promise that we will have your size, of course). A hut sleeping bag is mandatory (available for purchase at the hut). Alternatively, you can book bed linen. For your comfort, we offer separate ladies' and gents' washrooms with showers, which can be used for a fee of €3. Our cancellation policy is as follows (calculated based on 6 p.m. on the day of arrival): Up to 3 days before arrival: free of charge From 3 days before arrival: €15 per person per night From 1 day before arrival: €20 per person per night After that: no-show fee of €30 per person per night We look forward to your visit, Katharina Wallner & the Austriahütte team Prices are subject to change during the season.
