Sillianer Hütte

🏔 Sillianer Hut – 2,447 m The Sillianer Hut is located at 2,447 m on the main ridge of the Carnic Alps, directly on the border between East Tyrol and South Tyrol. It is the westernmost hut on the Karnischer Höhenweg and offers a unique panoramic view of the Sexten Dolomites, the Lienz Dolomites and the Puster Valley. The hut is an ideal starting point for mountain hikes, summit tours and stages of the Karnischer Höhenweg. It is particularly popular as a starting or finishing point for multi-day tours along the Austrian–Italian border. With a view of the Three Peaks, it delights not only hikers but also mountain bikers – a perfect place for anyone who wants to combine nature and activity. 🥾 Access From Sillian via the Leckfeldalm area: approx. 3 hours With the Thurntaler cable car to the top station, then along the Karnischer Höhenweg: approx. 2 hours Ascent also possible from Kartitsch or Innervillgraten. 🏡 Facilities Comfortable rooms and dormitories Sunny terrace with panoramic views Modern common room with stunning scenery Drying room, showers 🍽 Catering Our kitchen offers regional Tyrolean specialities, homemade cakes and vegetarian dishes.
