At the foot of the Geigelstein, at 1410 meters above sea level, lies the Priener Huette - nestled in the extensive nature reserve of the second highest peak in the Bavarian Alps. The hut can be reached from the valley via various routes on a pleasant two-and-a-half-hour hike and is not only a good place to stop for lunch, but also a starting point for numerous day tours.
