La Cabane du Carroz Nestled in a preserved natural setting, La Cabane du Carroz was built in 1928. It belongs to the Geneva Section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) and is not directly managed by the Swiss Alpine Club. It benefits from a building right granted by the municipality of Arzier-Le Muids. The hut is under the responsibility of the Sectionβs Hut Commission. It is open to the public when a hut guardian is present; supervision is provided by a team of volunteer hut guardians. The hut has no natural water source: the water in the cistern comes from collected rainwater. Since the renovation, the water is drinkable, except for the water used in the toilets. It is therefore important to use water carefully, as this resource is precious in the mountains. The hut is open every weekend throughout the year: summer: from Saturday 11:00 am to Sunday 3:30 pm winter: from Saturday 11:00 am to Sunday 2:30 pm
