The Bertahütte is located at 1527m and is a Category I Alpine Club hut in the Villach section. The hut is idyllically located beneath the steep north walls of the 2143m high Mittagskogel. Both long-distance hikers and mountain holidaymakers appreciate the location of the hut, the view of the Mittagskogel, the Karawanken, the Villacher Basin and the panoramic view of the Gail and Drautal valleys.
